PitchBot - Smart Chromatic Tuner App Reviews

Use this ALL the time! Never fails. Very accurate- if you go slowly. Had it for over a year now... There needs to be very little background noise and works best for keeping in tune... not great when tuning from scatch after re-stringing.

I have five tuners as apps and this one tunes me sharp compared to the others. That is a problem especially on the low E on my acoustic guitar. The other annoying feature is the needle that jumps all over the place. I dont recommwnd this app. There are more accurate apps and after all that should be all you want from a tuner.

This tuner can be a little off (and i really mean a little), and the needle jumps around, but it does get the job done for me. I recommend it.

This thing is way off in the high E & sharp on most other strings. Find another app and dont waste your money on this one!!

I love this little app -- it works great, does just what you want it to. But it does not work after an iOS upgrade. I can not find any way to contact the company other than through this review. When it is fixed I will switch my rating to 5 stars.

Its better than most of the chromatics, but the clear tune is the best one to use. I have a trombone and Im learning the notes and trying to stay on them is hard when the needle is flying all over the place when I know Im not that bad.

I have been trying to tune my mandolin by ear and could never get it to sound right. This works great!!

After trying several apps, this is the only one that truly stands out. It picks up the correct pitch of the drum, allowing you to find the notes you are looking for. I was able to get my LP congas with Remo Nuskyn heads tuned to C, A, G. NOTE: Starting with ios 7, this app no longer works. Hopefully the developer can fix it soon.
